-ONLINE registration begins SEPTEMBER 1ST-

The general information for the "20th Annual Lure of the Grapes" is that it will be held on the weekend of October 20-23, 2022 at Flying Flags RV Resort, Bulleton. Only club members of the Channel Islands Bike Club are welcome to participate in this fun biking environment. Our main goal is to have FUN while biking, eating, wine-tasting, or shopping in a social atmosphere. Activities will include road biking in this beautiful region along with gathering for breakfasts and dinners as well as shopping and wine tasting. -Lure Activities-

Below is the second edition as of January 5, 2022 of the agenda for the weekend of the "20th Lure of the Grapes." Our main goal is to have fun while biking, eating, shopping in a social atmosphere. Here is the agenda for the week:

Friday, October 20th 2022:

Ride: "Los Alamos 50 Miler" begin in the historic town of Los Alamos, about 30 minutes north of Buellton, at Los Alamos County Park for our 9am departure time. Bring food, water, cell phone on this beautiful rural route towards Orcutt at Jack's for lunch. 

Dinner- 

Saturday, October 21st 2022:

Ride:

Option- #1 40 mile to Fess Parker Winery (hilly)  leaving at 8:30am

Option- #2 47 miler to Bob's Well Bread (many hills ) leaving at 8:30am

Option- #3 21 miler to Corner House Cafe (less hills) leaving at 8:30am

Dinner: 5:30pm at Flying Flags RV Resort at the fire pit. BBQ dinners available on site. 

Sunday, October 22nd 2022:

Ride- "Neverland Ranch", Los Olivos leaving at 8:30am

There are many places to reserve accommodations for this year's Lure of the Grapes. Here is a list:

• Flying Flags RV Park- camping cabins, RV sites.
• Sideways Hotel- next to the Flying Flags RV Resort. All rooms refurbished a few years ago.
• Quality Inn
• Hampton Inn
• Marriott Hotel
• Motel 6
• Pea Soup Andersens
• many more hotels in Solvang

Reserve early as this is a very popular time of the year for the Santa Ynez Valley.

-Dining Choices-

The lunch sites will be determined for each route. While the first dinner option is the BBQ meal selections at Flying Flags RV Resort beginning around 5pm. No reservations necessary.
